Named Most Valuable Sports Agency by Forbes for eight consecutive years, CAA represents more than 2,000 of the world’s top athletes in football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, in addition to coaches, on-air broadcasters, and sports personalities and works in the areas of broadcast rights, corporate marketing initiatives, social impact, and sports properties for sales and sponsorship opportunities.  Founded in 1975, CAA is headquartered in Los Angeles, and has offices in New York, Nashville, Memphis, Chicago, Miami, London, Munich, Geneva, Stockholm, Shanghai, and Beijing, among other locations globally.  The Role The   Trust Associate plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of CAA Music’s department by providing accounting services to Agents and clients while ensuring financial accuracy.   This role is ideal for   someone who is   a   quick learner, who thrives in a   fast-paced   environment , who   enthusiastically looks to add value   an d has a passion for the entertainment industry .    Responsibilities Log   and   maintain   booking reports, process   payments   and generat e   invoices   Apply deposits for upcoming shows/tours to individual bookings Settle shows  based on agent numbers Release payments and generate schedules for clients Maintain and update master release grid (deposits, settling, etc.) Actively collect updates of prior booking reports ("follow-up") and enter them into the system Attach appropriate supporting documentation to payments Provide information as requested by Agent's Offices and Coordinators Review unclaimed /held checks/wires to identify resolution File documents on a timely basis Maintain clean and organized desks Perform other accounting tasks as requested by Supervisors and management Escalate issues, as needed, to the responsible Trust Accounting Supervisor Support system and process improvement projects Funds on Hold follow-up Open booking follow-up Invoice follow-up Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 1 or more years   Accounting   experience preferred   OR completion of an   accounting internship with in   entertainment,   music   or media   Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well with a team and represent the culture of the company Team player with a high level of energy, enthusiasm Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment Unimpeachable integrity and can be trusted to maintain confidential information Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 10-key by touch Typing – 45 wpm min Good organizational skills; able to multi-task Will take initiative; ask for more work if needed Location This role will be hybrid, based in Los Angeles. Compensation The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $28.00 - $34.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
