Sweeper Operator

What You'll Be Doing Operate sweeper equipment to clean and maintain plant, yard, and roadway surfaces Remove debris, dust, and material buildup to support safe and efficient operations Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on sweeper equipment Follow site safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance needs promptly Support general site housekeeping and assist with other operational tasks as needed What Are We Looking For Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team Solid communication skills and willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $25.87  per hour Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
