Sr. Operations Project Manager (Onsite) Bryan Dairy Facility - Electronics Division - SMT
JOB SUMMARY The Sr. Operations Project Manager leads strategic, large-scale, and high-complexity projects including customer-specific initiatives, new product introductions, and manufacturing transfers. This role provides leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, manages customer relationships, and maintains accountability for project scope, schedule, quality, cost, and overall execution. The Sr. Operations Project Manager serves as a key liaison between customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead strategic projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives
Gather, analyze, and translate project requirements into executable plans
Build and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and milestones
Collaborate with internal and external customers throughout the project lifecycle
Develop integrated project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
Monitor project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk to ensure successful execution
Provide regular project status updates, performance metrics, and issue resolution plans to stakeholders
Serve as the primary interface with customers, vendors, sponsors, and key stakeholders
Coordinate project activities and drive accountability across multiple functional organizations
Support resource planning, capacity management, and forecasting of project-related staffing needs
Facilitate effective communication across project teams and leadership groups
Coach team members through complex decision-making situations
Drive continuous improvement through metrics analysis, lessons learned, and best practice implementation
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security requirements
Participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments and Jabil sites
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge Requirements Expert knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering operations
Knowledge of Jabil operating policies, procedures, culture, and guiding principles
Ability to effectively navigate diverse global cultures, organizational structures, and business environments
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred
Minimum 10 years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or related environments
Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional projects
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
