Job Summary The Senior Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing healthcare professionals for direct hire opportunities through a proactive, consultative recruiting approach. This role focuses heavily on passive candidate sourcing, talent mapping, relationship building, and full-cycle recruiting, leveraging multiple sourcing channels to build and maintain a high-quality talent pipeline.
Success in this role requires a strong "headhunter" mentality, including the ability to proactively identify talent beyond active applicants, build candidate relationships, and deliver qualified candidates to clients in a competitive market. The Senior Recruiter manages a portfolio of searches, develops sourcing strategies, and partners closely with clients and hiring teams to deliver top talent while achieving established recruiting, sourcing, and submission goals.
Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred); hybrid if located near a hub office.
Employment Type: Long-term temporary contract with the potential for extension.
Job Responsibilities Sourcing & Talent Acquisition Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage both active and passive healthcare candidates
Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, CRM databases, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing tools to build talent pipelines
Conduct direct outreach to prospective candidates through phone, email, text, and social media channels
Build and maintain a network of healthcare professionals for current and future hiring needs
Perform talent mapping and market research to identify qualified candidates within target healthcare markets
Candidate Qualification & Recruitment Conduct candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, career goals, and alignment with client requirements
Present qualified candidate profiles to hiring teams, highlighting relevant experience and fit
Manage candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, submission, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement
Build consultative relationships with candidates and serve as a trusted career advisor
Client Delivery & Performance Maintain a strong focus on candidate delivery and client satisfaction
Consistently meet or exceed recruiting performance metrics, including sourcing activity, candidate submissions, interviews, and placements
Support priority searches through proactive pipeline development and market intelligence
Prepare and maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate records, and reporting in ATS and CRM systems
Team Support & Leadership Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and supporting Recruiters and Recruitment Coordinators
Share sourcing strategies, market insights, and recruiting best practices
Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications Education & Years of Experience Associate's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR
High School Diploma/GED plus 4-7 years of work experience
Required Experience Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, direct hire recruiting, staffing, or sales
Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, CRM databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels
Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates
Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously
Proven success working in a metrics-driven environment
Preferred Experience Healthcare recruiting or healthcare staffing experience
Experience supporting direct hire or permanent placement searches
Experience utilizing ATS and CRM platforms to manage candidate pipelines
Experience with candidate sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, and talent databases
Success Profile Comfortable with high-volume outreach activities, including approximately 100+ candidate calls per week
Driven to consistently deliver qualified talent to clients
Demonstrates resilience and persistence when facing rejection or difficult searches
Operates with a proactive, business-development mindset rather than relying solely on inbound applicants
Builds and maintains a personal network of healthcare talent that can be leveraged across future searches
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
