Senior Consultant (Data Scientist), Value Engineering

JOB TITLE:  Senior Consultant (Data Scientist), Value Engineering JOB LOCATION: Hybrid / Hyderabad, India JOB SUMMARY:   Value Engineering focuses on quantifying and communicating business impact through analytics, benchmarking, and value measurement frameworks such as scorecards and ROI models. We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Data Scientist to support our Value Engineering and client analytics initiatives. This role will focus on transforming complex, multi-source data into actionable insights that clearly demonstrate business value for our clients. The ideal candidate combines strong technical ability with business acumen to build scalable analytics, quantify outcomes, and communicate insights in a clear, executive-ready format. This role sits at the intersection of data science, consulting, and value measurement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and advanced analyses leveraging data from multiple internal and external sources Examine and interpret analytical outputs to identify trends, patterns, and drivers of business performance Identify trends, patterns, and behavioral insights from large datasets to inform decision-making and quantify impact Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives tailored for C-level executives and business leaders Support development of executive presentations and value articulation materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, product, consulting, and operations) to drive data-driven strategies Build reusable assets, templates, and scalable workflows to improve efficiency and repeatability. Leverage modern tools (including agentic AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot Studio) to build Agents and enhance data retrieval, automation, and insight generation Design and support value measurement frameworks and scorecards to track business outcomes and ROI. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with large-scale data environments (e.g., Hadoop, Cloudera Data Platform, Hue, Amazon Redshift & S3) Experience in building dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Python and/or R for advanced analytics, modeling, and automation Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio (agents and flows) or similar agentic AI / automation tools Exposure to value consulting, business case development, or ROI measurement Experience working in consulting, benefits analytics, or client-facing analytics roles Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering workflows KEY COMPETENCIES Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights to business outcomes and client value Storytelling: Exceptional ability to synthesize and communicate insights Collaboration: Works effectively across global and cross-functional teams Innovation: Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance analytics capabilities WHY JOIN US Opportunity to work on high-impact analytics initiatives across global clients Exposure to cutting-edge data platforms and AI-driven tools Collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong growth opportunities We offer you a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
