Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse :     Cardiovascular , Thoracic Telemetry unit.   Unit Overview: 4G, Cardiovascular, Thoracic Telemetry unit.    4G is a 20 bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in post-op CABG patients, post-op cardiac surgery, CHF and moderate risk chest pain patients. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.   Shift : Full-time, Nights Job Description:   The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.    The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.     As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.    Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:   Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.   Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.   Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.   Basic life support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don’t have it already.   ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.   Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental and Pet Insurance.   Life Insurance.   Short Term and Long Term Disability and Life Insurance.   Identity Theft Protection.   Tuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 annually.   Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave.   5 days of Paid Time Off available upon hire.   Bereavement Leave (includes pets).   PTO Sell Back Program.   Compassionate Leave Sharing Program (PTO Donation)  .   Employee Support Fund, for employees in need of emergency financial support.   Retirement with Company Match.   If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
