Job Description U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is seeking a future team member for the role of  Reconciliation Specialist to support our Fund Accounting team. The Reconciliation Specialist will perform daily reconciliations of fund-level cash, positions, to ensure accuracy and completeness of records within the fund accounting system. They will identify differences, investigate root causes, process appropriate entries or corrections, and retain support to demonstrate that issues were resolved accurately and timely.    The role partners closely with reviewers, Fund Accounting teams, and audit partners by providing clear documentation, explanations, and archived support in accordance with internal control standards and audit expectations.    Key Responsibilities Prepare and complete daily cash, position, and portfolio transaction reconciliations for assigned funds.    Identify reconciling differences and perform research to determine root cause.    Process required transactions, adjustments, or corrections into the fund accounting system in accordance with documented procedures.    Provide clear explanations and  retained  support for reviewers to verify accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.    Maintain organized reconciliation packets and supporting documentation to ensure audit-readiness.    Archive reconciliation and supporting evidence in approved repositories for internal and external audit use.    Escalate unresolved or aged items in accordance with established escalation protocols.    Adhere to internal controls, documentation standards, and retention policies.    Special Projects Support internal and external audit support tickets, including evidence gathering and walkthrough preparation.    Cross-train  on multiple reconciliation types (cash, positions, portfolio activity) to provide coverage during absences or peak workloads.    Participate in process improvement, documentation enhancement, or control strengthening initiatives as assigned.    Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities Preferred Skills and Abilities Experience supporting r egistered fund operations and reconciliation processes.    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.    Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting daily deadlines.    Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, documentation, and control compliance.    Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.    Effectively uses time, systems, and information to resolve issues efficiently.    Communicates clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.    Actively listens and collaborates with partners to achieve understanding and resolution.    Adapts priorities in response to changing workloads, new information, or unexpected issues.    Builds effective working relationships in both routine and high-pressure situations.      This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
