Summary-
Drive volume, share and revenue in accounts on annual, monthly, customer, and brand basis. Manage relationships with buyers in charge of purchasing decisions for multi-unit accounts. Work closely with Breakthru Trade Development, Breakthru Specialty Beverage Managers, field sales, on-premise sales reps, and Division Managers to manage business and programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.
Maintain key accounts by effectively communicating marketing plans, developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers of purchasing in multi-unit accounts, presenting new products, executing on promotional events where appropriate, and conducting business reviews as prescribed by Riboli management.
Lead development of annual plans for key accounts that state agreed brand and consumer strategies and ensure the delivery of business goals.
Employ strategies that strengthen position to be the supplier of choice in the account’s planning processes.
Educates account staff on priority brands by administering instructional staff training seminars and business/category insights where appropriate.
Manage and evaluate all promotional spending by account priority with regards to performance and implement corrective business building actions.
Assist in the development of account specific presentations as well as goals for volume, profit, distribution, and merchandising promotion execution.
Proactively participate in strategy briefing sessions while continuously providing feedback on program executions, effectiveness and generating problem-solving ideas where applicable.
Drive volume and profit growth of multi-unit accounts.
Obtain and communicate updated market competitive information.
Understands company pricing and product programming information monthly by reviewing and maintaining accurate and up to date records.
Understand competitive pricing and product programming by reviewing pricing schedules and surveying accounts.
Manage surveys with Breakthru Specialty Beverage team.
Establish and present merchandising objectives relative to brand priority for each account by understanding company priorities and defining POS needs to management.
Produces POS including, but not limited to, signage and wine and cocktail lists by leveraging Riboli Digital Capabilities.
Ensures maximum brand visibility within accounts by maintaining account standards as determined by management and using effective and current point of sale materials when appropriate.
Assists event-marketing manager by helping to organize, solicit, and execute events and brand promotions to maximize brand visibility.
Other duties, assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Job execution will break into the following components:
20% of time spent on Breakthru concentration (in market or conducting sales meetings/planning meetings).
70% of time spent in the field (on own, with Breakthru, or Riboli management).
10% administrative, preplanning, and follow up.
Each of these areas may require working evening hours and weekends when necessary to accomplish the outlined objective.

Education, Experience and Skills-
A four-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience enabling the incumbent to perform job responsibilities as required. (Equivalent work experience could include supplier, distributor sales or wine industry management jobs)
Minimum of 5+ years of regional on-premise chain experience.
Proficient written communication skills. Incumbent must possess the ability to develop and provide all necessary written reports, correspondence and presentations necessary to satisfy job requirements.
Proficient oral communication and interpersonal skills. Incumbent must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Incumbent must articulate in a professional and personable manner to be a strong leader and partner to Riboli Customers and Trade.
Intermediate Excel skills. Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies that drive business growth and optimize KPI achievement.
Ability to have fluent knowledge of PC, working within Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and any other company software is critical to the success of this position.
Mathematical skills: Incumbent must have the ability to calculate and interpret financial data which affects every day Riboli business.
For certain markets multi-language skills are required or would be a plus, i.e. Italian or Spanish (if required this will be identified during the recruitment process).
