POSITION OVERVIEW   The Marketing Logistics Specialist I   is   responsible for supporting the coordination and execution of   logistics   activities related to Marketing assets, including inventory management, shipping, and trade show support. This role ensures   accurate ,   timely , and efficient movement of materials while   maintaining   proper documentation and supporting operational effectiveness within the Marketing function.     This role is working onsite at Gentex in Zeeland, MI. WHAT YOU’LL DO   Manage Marketing warehouse operations, including inventory, shipping, receiving, and records .   Maintain Marketing assets, including trade show displays, presentation and demo equipment, and other materials.   Coordinate   timely ,   accurate   shipment and delivery of Marketing assets.   Track shipments and escalate delays, discrepancies, or issues.   Assist   with standard reports, bid comparisons, and carrier rate analyses.   Review   logistics   documents for accuracy, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.   Maintain supplier, carrier, and freight forwarder databases and basic performance tracking.   Support root-cause analysis and process improvements for recurring   logistics   issues.   Collaborate across Marketing, Logistics, and other teams to support shipment flow.   Support special projects such as expedited shipments, packaging studies, and carrier audits.   Perform other duties as assigned.   HOW YOU’LL DO IT   Attention to detail - Ensuring information is complete and   accurate ; following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.   Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.   Optimizing   work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.   Maintain ing   a   high level   of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.   Complying with   all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties ,   including but not limited to, promoting   a safe workplace.      WHAT TO BRING   Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain , Logistics, Business, Marketing, or related field .   2 + years of experience in   logistics , shipping/receiving, inventory management, or   a related role .   Basic understanding of shipping processes, documentation, and carrier coordination .   Strong organizational and communication skills .   Ability to obtain certification   and   operate   all applicable material handling equipment including, but not limited to, industrial lift trucks.   Ability to work nonstandard hours as needed to support shipping schedules and events .   Proficiency   in Microsoft Office Suite.   Occasional travel may be   required .   WHAT WILL HELP   Experience with inventory tracking systems or databases .   Proficiency   in Adobe Creative Suite.   Chauffer’s Licens e or   ability   to obtain one.   Electrical/mechanical/automotive aptitude.   Gentex is an equal opportunity employer Gentex extends equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees regardless of an individual’s race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), disability, marital status, military service, height, weight, genetic information, or any other reason protected by law.
