Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Maintenance Data Engineer (Technical Publications / ICA – GTF Engines) to support our Commercial Engine Maintenance Data & Services Engineering (MDSE) Geared Turbofan (GTF) team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs), engine maintenance manuals, and technical publications that ensure the safe operation, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainment of GTF engine programs.
What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) and engine maintenance data in accordance with FAA/TCCA regulations, industry standards, and program requirements.
Author, review, and update Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs) and maintenance manuals using engineering source data to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
Support the maintenance data publishing process by performing data integrity checks, resolving documentation issues, and conducting quality reviews of publication modules.
Collaborate with engineering, program teams, customers, suppliers, airframers, airlines, and overhaul facilities to define and implement maintenance data requirements and process improvements.
Manage multiple maintenance data projects by tracking development schedules, communicating status updates, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technical publications and customer support.
Qualifications You Must Have:
BA/BS degree in Engineering, STEM field, or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience in a customer support/engine maintenance/task development role
Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information.
Experience in commercial aircraft engine overhaul, maintenance operations, and engine hardware, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), technical publications, and Federal Aviation Administration and Transport Canada Civil Aviation regulatory requirements and industry specifications.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to developing accurate, high-quality maintenance documentation and technical publications.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
