Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Strategic Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end processes that allow Anduril to build, ship, and deploy products globally, and this includes strategically overseeing M&A integrations.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a technical IT Operations Manager for Acquisitions, you will architect and execute the seamless integration of acquired companies into Anduril's IT ecosystem. This is a hands-on technical leadership role: you will be expected to dig into networks, directories, identity systems, endpoint fleets, cloud environments, and SaaS platforms yourself—not just orchestrate from the top. You will own the technical strategy and execution for consolidating disparate infrastructures into a unified, secure, and scalable operating model that enables Anduril's long-term growth. This is an unparalleled opportunity for a deeply technical leader who thrives on solving complex integration problems at speed and scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Architect, execute, and stabilize end-to-end IT integrations for acquired entities across the full stack—endpoint devices, servers, network infrastructure, identity and directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, Google Cloud Identity), communication tools, SaaS platforms, and multi-cloud environments.
Lead identity and access consolidation, including directory migrations, domain trusts/federation, SSO/SAML/OIDC integration, tenant-to-tenant migrations (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), and MDM/UEM enrollment (Intune, Jamf, Kandji).
Design and drive physical and virtual hardware transitions, including IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose), fleet re-imaging, zero-touch provisioning, and lifecycle management for laptops, mobile, and specialized hardware.
Own software and infrastructure portfolio consolidation—migrating and rationalizing everything from on-prem servers and virtualization stacks to SaaS productivity suites and business-critical applications into Anduril's IT operating model.
Build and automate onboarding pipelines so newly integrated employees have immediate, secure, least-privilege access to hardware, software, and tools from day one.
Perform deep technical due diligence and readiness assessments of acquired IT environments—mapping network topologies, security posture, data flows, licensing, and technical debt—and design remediation and harmonization plans.
Trace and untangle complex system interdependencies across Anduril's internal environment and acquired ecosystems, mitigating risk and ensuring operational continuity at scale.
Diagnose recurring post-acquisition IT pain points and engineer automation-first solutions (scripting, IaC, workflow automation, APIs) to eliminate manual toil across diverse business units.
Establish and test IT continuity and disaster recovery plans addressing hardware failures, software outages, and cross-company interdependencies during integration windows.
Serve as senior technical escalation for rapid incident response, ensuring operational stability throughout acquisition transitions.
Author and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and training so stakeholders and internal teams can operate new hardware, software ecosystems, and processes confidently.
Develop and implement a scalable technical IT support model that balances efficiency, security, and user experience across all M&A integrations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in technical IT Operations / infrastructure roles, with 2–3 years of team leadership, ideally in high-growth technology environments.
Broad and deep hands-on technical experience across the modern IT stack: identity and directory services, endpoint management (Windows/macOS/Linux), networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise SaaS.
Hands-on expertise administering identity providers and directories (Okta, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory, Google Cloud Identity), including SSO, SCIM, and federation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and personally execute software migrations, tenant cutovers, directory consolidations, and application rationalizations across business-critical systems.
Proven experience leading IT hardware transitions—IMACD, MDM/UEM (Intune, Jamf, Kandji), imaging/provisioning, and lifecycle management.
Automation and scripting proficiency (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and comfort integrating systems via APIs to eliminate manual work.
Strong ability to trace dependencies across systems, mitigate risk, and ensure continuity at scale.
Exceptional ability to negotiate, align, and communicate technical decisions with diverse stakeholders, bridging cultural and process differences across organizations.
Due to the nature of work, U.S. Person status is required, as this position needs access to controlled data.
Travel required (approx. 50%) during key points in the acquisition process and as needed to ensure hands-on success.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Deep experience managing multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) in the context of M&A integrations and scaling global infrastructure, including networking (VPN, VPC/VNet peering, DNS) and cloud IAM.
Expertise administering and integrating enterprise SaaS (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow) duri
