Intern - Volunteer ServicesDay Shift (United States of America) Department:  Volunteer Services         Job:  Volunteer Services Intern                       Objective: To assist the Volunteer Services staff with clerical duties and special projects for the department. Hours: 15-20 Hours a week Flexible Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm Qualifications: Detail-oriented Ability to keep information confidential Computer skills, including MS Office and database software Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently Responsibilities: Email triaging Applicant screening and onboarding Orientation preparation Communication with volunteers and their leaders Analyze volunteer reports/worksheets to identify concerns Database entry Other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Ability to stand or sit for several hours Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds Equipment Operated: Copy machine Telephone Laptop 18 years of age or older Training: New Employee Orientation Department Training
