Summary of Role: The RTX Directory Management Protection organization is currently recruiting for an Illumio Network Security Engineer. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to design, document, and implement an Illumio solution, engage with internal RTX business units to evaluate network security issues, propose design options, and work with network engineers to implement new firewall deployments from a network and security policy perspective.  The candidate is expected to be proficient in Illumio firewall architecture and administration with at least three years of firewall management experience and a strong networking background.  Expertise in DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management systems is also important. What You Will Do  Design, document and implement an Illumio solution, including application currency and disaster recover planning and execution Develop operational procedures related to managing security policies within Illumio and troubleshooting issues related to Illumio configurations Design and implement micro-segmentation solutions through Illumio segmentation policies Develop and manage security policy to minimize lateral movement of threats across internal network Analyze and map application dependencies and traffic flow to ensure optimal segmentation Troubleshoot Illumio agent Diagnose and resolve network performance issues Ensure deployments meet regulatory compliance requirements Experience with automation and scripting (Python, REST APIs) for policy deployment, validation, and compliance reporting Qualifications You Must Have  Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
