Job Description: Project Manager – Field Service
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director of Field service and based in San Jose, CA.
This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week when not traveling. ( Must be able to travel domestically as needed, expected to be about 25%)
The Project Manager will support the Service Department team to manage projects both internally and at customer energy sites. This will include tracking engineering cost reduction projects, day-to-day management of internal service projects and management of large external-facing customer sites. The role will require cross functional coordination between Supply Chain, Construction, Engineering, Quality and Finance teams.
Requirements:
5+ Years of hands-on Project Management experience to track and deliver projects is a must
Leading Cross functional teams experience is a must
Electrical experience, especially industrial electric up to 480V 3-phase
Energy Industry experience with projects in a commercial/data center environment is a plus
Experience with software and tools like Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
Must have excellent communications skills, ability to organize and lead a diverse team
Proven track record successfully managing construction projects, setting timelines and critical path for projects
Must be a problem solver and a self-starter!
Must be able to travel domestically as needed, expected to be about 25%
Responsibilities:
Responsible for organizing, implementing, and tracking select field upgrade campaigns
Tracking and reporting of Cost Reduction projects
Responsible for managing internal Service Department projects
Managing customer upgrades, including contractor work and organizing Bloom personnel
Accountable for reporting project status to leadership
Cross functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance and Operations teams
Education and experience:
Bachelors degree preferred
MS / MBA, PMP Certification is a plus
