Project Overview SteerBridge is supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on behalf of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) in the construction of a new Currency Production Facility (CPF) at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in Beltsville, MD. This ~921,600 sq. ft. facility will replace BEP's 1914 Washington, DC production plant and will support a 24-hour, multi-shift secure manufacturing operation for U.S. currency. The project includes a major sustainability program (rooftop photovoltaic array, green roof, permeable parking surfaces), perimeter security infrastructure, wetland and forest preservation, and coordination under a Section 106 historic preservation Memorandum of Agreement with the Maryland Historic Trust. We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to support this high-visibility federal construction program from preliminary design coordination through occupancy.
