Duties Provide 2D Designer support services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Services include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas: Electrical Equipment layout Grounding Cable tray Conduit Lighting systems Schematics and wiring diagrams Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, OSHA) Plant Design Mechanical systems (piping, material handling, equipment, HVAC components) Equipment, piping, and HVAC layout based on upper-tier documents Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards (ASME B31.3, NFPA 101, ASME N509/510, B16) Additional Notes: Required discipline experience will be specified in requests for resumes. Occasional travel offsite to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations may be required. Design services must comply with SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR. Education High School Degree required Formal training beyond High School in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting preferred Experience / Skills Minimum 8 years of experience as a Designer in the specified discipline Proficiency in 2D MicroStation CADD required Must be capable of performing system walkdowns in the field Work Hours Standard 40-hour work week Schedules may include: 5/8s → 8 hours/day, 5 days per week 4/10s → 10 hours/day, 4 days per week 9/80s → 9 hours/day (5 days on Week A, 4 days on Week B) Excludes SRR holidays Each workday includes a 30-minute lunch Area Security Access No security clearance required As a condition of employment, all employees are required to fulfill all requirements of the roles for which they are employed; establish, manage, pursue, and fulfill annual goals and objectives with at least three (3) Goals for each of the firms Eight Prosidian Global Competencies [1 - Personal Effectiveness | 2 - Continuous Learning | 3 - Leadership | 4 - Client Service | 5 - Business Management | 6 - Business Development | 7 - Technical Expertise | 8 - Innovation & Knowledge Sharing (Thought Leadership)]; and to support all business development and other efforts on behalf of ProSidian Consulting. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
